You are SO fortunate to know that God loves you. Because although He loves everybody, not everybody is sure of that and so they are not open to receiving from Him and can't as readily take advantage of everything He wants to give them and share with them.
If you are in Christ, then you are "accepted in the beloved" (Ephesians 1:6). The word used for "accepted" here is a word that also means highly favored. But not only that, you should also know that God loved the world before people had a chance to accept Jesus, be reconciled to God and become a new creation. "God commends His love to us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
You can know that God loves you because of what Christ did. Jesus is God revealed to us. "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32).
Today know that God loves you and be open to everything that He wants to do for you and give to you.

I was thinking about how it is now 2018, and that it has been 8 years now since I got baptized in the Holy Spirit.
A quick Google search for the meaning of he number 8 in the bible will yield the results; "The number eight in the Bible signifies Resurrection and Regeneration. It is the number of a new beginning. Eight is 7 plus 1 and since it comes just after seven, which itself signifies an end to something, so eight is also associated with the beginning of a new era or that of a new order. In the bible one can find many examples which bring forth and which associate the number eight with a new beginning".
