Some Interesting Info About Meditation
I've been wanting to write this for a while now, so to whoever needs it, enjoy. Some interesting information about meditation: Mindfulness is a billion dollar industry. Negative effects of mindfulness practices such as meditation are rarely reported on, as negative effects are not profitable. But that doesn't mean that negative effects do not exist. In the same way that we need to be aware of the negative side effects of certain drugs and medications, we need to also be aware of the negative side effects associated with ANYTHING that is being promoted as a health practice, so that we can make INFORMED DECISIONS. Let's look at some info. "Buddhist-derived meditation practices are currently being employed as a popular form of health promotion. While meditation programs draw inspiration from Buddhist textual sources for the benefits of meditation, these sources also acknowledge a wide range of other effects beyond health-related outcomes. Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who ARE IN CHRIST Jesus.” (Capitalization mine).
If you are in Christ, there is now no condemnation for you. You are good. God now counts you among the righteous, not because of anything you did on your own, but because you’ve accepted what Jesus did for you.
So how do I get to be “in Christ”?
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” - THIS verse was NOT written to believers by the way.
I am not writing this for believers. So believers just chill.
If there is lack, confess the supply.
If you are sick, confess your healing.
But what do we do if we sin? Confess our sin?
The belief of confessing your sin is often based on one scripture; 1 John 1:9. But this scripture wasn’t even written to believers. This verse was speaking to the Gnostics, a group of heretics who did not believe that “sin” existed. If these people did not believe in sin, then they could not confess that they were sinners. If they could not confess that they were sinners, then they could not admit their need for the Lord Jesus Christ. Before we become children of God, it is important to confess that w

Who is praying in tongues for?
Who is praying in tongues for? Who is power from the Holy Spirit for? Who gets to use it? Who gets to have access to this power?
This is NOT written to Christians who do not believe this gift (praying, or speaking, in tongues) is for today. I recognize and acknowledged that I have brothers and sisters in Christ who do not believe in these things. That's fine. If this is you, I respect you, and I love you. But that is another discussion entirely. What I am about to write is actually written to Christians who DO believe and who DO operate in these gifts. If you DO believe in these things, I am writing this to you, because I want to try to shak

"...the miracle of Ah Kei's healing was repeated with several of his friends. Jean took Ah Kei to the Hilton to get his hair cut, and there he ran into his old friend Wahchai, whom he had introduced into the crime rackets years earlier. Ah Kei persuaded him to come back to the Willanse's flat and we had an impromptu meeting. During the meeting, I had a message in tongues, but there was no interpretation. As St. Paul says, there has to be an interpretation every time someone has a message in tongues, so we waited and waited but no one spoke. Finally, Wahchai admitte

To Christians who Struggle with Addiction
Contrary to what some people believe, Christians can still struggle with things like addiction. If you are a Christian who struggles with this, keep reading. Because I believe revelation of Jesus in this area can change your life.
Some things to remember:
You are righteous because of what Jesus did, not because of anything that you did.
Because you are righteous due to Jesus' perfect sacrifice, and not your own righteousness, you cannot be made unrighteous because of your own unrighteousness. You didn't earn it by your own actions. You cannot lose it by your own actions.
"he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but becau

Taking God's Love Personally
John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only son and that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. That's great. God loves the world blah blah blah
But wait a second. You need to take this personally! God loves the world yes, but you also need to realize that He loves YOU. I'm going to try to explain something to you. Pay attention.
The relationship you have with Jesus is something that He can't have with anyone else. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying. Anyone can enter into an intimate relationship with Jesus. This is what He died for. Jesus came to give people eternal life. Jesus came so peo
Do you ever feel frustrated because you feel like a lot of people just don't understand the concept that knowing God is about a relationship with an interactive being? I am going to reflect on a few things that I've learned that have helped me understand this.
God is a real person. He is a supernatural and divine person. He is God. But He is a person. The bible says God is a Spirit. He is not just some spirit/universe energy floating around. But He is a person. He has a form and personality. "You mean God is like us?" No! YOU are like Him! God made you in His image and likeness. Not the other way around. (Genesis 1:26) God is a spirit and yo
